NI assembly suspended

The Northern Ireland Assembly will be suspended from midnight tonight, Secretary of State Dr John Reid announced today.

Angela Smith, an MP for Basildon, and Ian Pearson, who represents Dudley South, have been appointed to the ministerial team in Belfast.
