Wicklow body taken to morgue

The body of a man found in Co Wicklow during the night has been taken to the city morgue at Marino.

It is expected that the Assistant State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy will carry out a post mortem later today.

The man is believed to have been in his 20s.

A passer-by found his body just before midnight on the main Dublin to Arklow road.

It is believed that he had sustained severe head injuries.
