Anti-war protest planned in Shannon

A major demonstration is being held at Shannon Airport this afternoon by the Irish anti-war movement.

The group is holding a peaceful protest against a war on Iraq at the airport's terminal building.

They have appealed to the Gardaí not to hinder the march, which begins at midday.
