Gardaí launch murder hunt as Chinese man dies

Gardai have launched a murder investigation following the death of a Chinese man who was assaulted earlier this week.

Chen Li Ming, aged 22, suffered severe head injuries in the assault and died today in hospital.

Mr Chen was taken to hospital after collapsing in the doorway of a house in Crumlin early on Wednesday morning.

The assault apparently took place elsewhere in the city.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information about the matter to come forward.
