€1.75m to be spent on Ringsend flood defence

The Government is to allocate almost €1.75m for flood protection in Ringsend in Dublin.

The funding will come from the Office of Public Works and will be used to build defences along the River Dodder between Ringsend Bridge and Londonbridge Road.
