UUP member issues SF warning

A senior Ulster Unionist member today warned the British government and the nationalist SDLP that his party would be forced to act against Sinn Fein if they did not move against republicans.

UUP president, the Rev Martin Smyth told the Ulster Young Unionists Council in Belfast: “Our council will be watching with interest what emerges from yesterday’s raid in Sinn Fein’s offices.
