Beaumont bosses say virus not gone away

Officials at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin have said there is a long way to go before an outbreak of the winter vomiting virus at the hospital can be brought under control.

So far, 27 confirmed cases of the virus have been detected in Beaumont and another 88 patients are showing symptoms of the illness.
