SF denies rumours of policing u-turn

Sinn Fein has denied rumours that it is on the verge of joining the North’s police board, saying it will only do so when the PSNI is reformed in line with the recommendations of the Patten Report.

The republican party has refused to endorse the new police service because of its failure to comply with the Patten proposals.
