The majority of tourists visiting Ireland are satisfied with their holiday, despite high prices, according to a survey conducted for Bord Failte.

The majority of tourists visiting Ireland are satisfied with their holiday, despite high prices, according to a survey conducted for Bord Failte.

The survey, published last night, found that 93% of tourists were very satisfied with the friendliness and hospitality they experienced in Ireland.

However, more than half of the 1,000 visitors questioned said the cost of living in Ireland is higher than they expected and 16% said prices are unacceptably high.
