Bid to ease PSNI personnel crisis

A new plan has been drawn up in a bid to ease the resource crisis threatening Northern Ireland’s police service, it was confirmed tonight.

With the full-time reserves expected to be kept on for the next three years, Chief Constable Hugh Orde is set to be presented with a package to aid his fight against a rising terrorist threat.
