Exchequer returns show €1.3bn shortfall

The Exchequer returns have just been published and show there is no sign of recovery in the Irish economy.

The returns indicate that the Government finances are much worse than originally anticipated, and that there will be a tax revenue shortfall of €1.3bn by the end of the year.
