'Women for a Yes Vote’ launch Nice campaign

A new lobby group is claiming that women have benefited in particular from this country’s membership of the EU and should vote "Yes" in the forthcoming Nice Treaty referendum.

Speaking at the launch of ‘Women for a Yes Vote’ Independent TD, Marian Harkin, said rejection of the Treaty would stall the applications of those countries wishing to join the European Union.
