SIPTU has rejected claims from the management of the Irish Glass Bottle plant in Dublin that they have made a new offer to laid off workers in an attempt to resolve the stand-off over redundancy payments.

SIPTU has rejected claims from the management of the Irish Glass Bottle plant in Dublin that they have made a new offer to laid off workers in an attempt to resolve the stand-off over redundancy payments.

More than 350 workers lost their jobs when the plant closed in July, but they were doubly incensed when the company refused to honour redundancy payments recommended by the Labour Relations Commission.
