PSNI launch investigation into shooting

Police in the North have now launched an investigation into the attempted shooting of a family in Portadown overnight.

The family in County Armagh were lucky to escape injury when shots were fired into their home early today.

Investigators think that three shots in total were fired at the residence in the Westland road area just before 1 am.

The married couple and their five children were unhurt.
