Family escapes gun attack in NI

A family was lucky to escape a gun attack in their home in Co Armagh earlier today.

A police spokesman said a man, a woman and their five children were inside the house on Westland Road when the shooting occurred at 12.55am.

Three spent .45 calibre cases were found at the scene, the spokesman added.
