Workers spend their last day with WHB

A total of 31 people are spending their last day working for the Western Health Board.

The trade union IMPACT is instructing its members not to take on the responsibilities of those being let go.

The positions being vacated include 25 in acute services.

Unions say the cuts are also resulting in vacancies for administrative and medical staff not being filled.
