Flood Tribunal report due after lunch
The Government has confirmed the first report of the Flood Tribunal on planning and payments will be revealed at 2pm today.
The report will be handed to the clerk of the Dáil and effected parties before being made public.
In his report, Justice Fergus Flood will decide whether or not a number of payments made to the former Foreign Affairs Minister, Ray Burke, were genuine political donations or were given in turn for political favours.
He is also expected to make recommendations on legislation and planning regulations.
The Government has pledged to implement the report’s recommendations.
