Govt accused of fuelling alcohol-related violence

Fine Gael has accused the Government of indirectly fuelling the level of alcohol-related violence in Ireland.

Yesterday, Justice Minister Michael McDowell expressed concern about such violence and vowed to give the Gardai more powers to deal with the problem.
