Pisces tragedy inquest adjourned

The inquest into the deaths of five people in a fishing accident off the coast of Co Wexford in July has returned verdicts of death by drowning.

Three members of the same family were among the five victims of the Pisces tragedy near Fethard-on-Sea.

Gardai today asked for the inquest to be adjourned pending an official investigation into the sinking of the Pisces.

The coroner agreed, but said he will allow death certificates to be issued to accommodate the families of the victims.
