A trawler and four crew members have been towed to safety after getting into difficulty off the Mayo coast last night.

A trawler and four crew members have been towed to safety after getting into difficulty off the Mayo coast last night.

The alarm was raised at around 11.30pm when the vessel, travelling from Rossaveal in Galway to Liverpool, experienced engine problems two miles off Achill Head.
