Gardai prepare plan for Sunday protest

Garda chiefs are to finalise contingency plans to deal with any incidents in a planned anti-globalisation protest on Sunday.

It has emerged that film footage of the May Day Reclaim the Streets - in which several people were injured - is being examined as a file is sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions on Garda activity during the protest.
