Gardai to question kidnap victim

Gardai are to question kidnap victim Helen Judge later today, if doctors treating the 41-year-old deem her well enough.

Mrs Judge has been receiving medical attention for shock and trauma following her two day ordeal on Sunday and Monday last. She was taken from her home in Co Kildare to a location in Co Louth.

A ransom demand of €250,000 was made by her abductors.

She was found, unharmed, at 5am on Wednesday morning, following an anonymous tip-off to local gardai.

However, she has been unable to help gardai in Kildare with their inquiries thus far, as she has been suffering from shock.
