Princess Anne today recognised the sacrifice of 29 prison officers in Northern Ireland who died while in service.

On the second day of her visit to the province, the Princess joined prison officers at the official Royal residence of Hillsborough Castle to posthumously award the officers with Northern Ireland Prison Service medals.
