Sinn Féin could call a meeting of its ruling council to discuss joining the North’s Policing Board - but it’s only likely to do so if Tony Blair’s government tables enough legislative changes.

It's believed Prime Minister Blair is planning to bring in legislation before the next session of Parliament, aimed at easing nationalist fears over policing.
