Heath to give Bloody Sunday evidence in London
Former British Prime Minister Ted Heath has been granted permission to give evidence to the Bloody Sunday inquiry when it moves to London.
The Tribunal said that Heath should not have to travel to Derry along with former British Foreign Secretary, Lord Carrington and his parliamentary Under Secretary.
Lawyers representing the three had argued they feared for their safety if they were forced to give evidence at the Guildhall in Derry.
Military witnesses will also be giving evidence when the inquiry moves to the Central Hall at Westminster next week.
