Gardaí wait to question kidnap victim
Gardaí are waiting to question Helen Judge, who was found in secluded woodland on the Cooley Peninsula in Co. Louth this morning.
It has not yet been established if Mrs Judge was kept in the woods since her abduction from her Kildare home in the early hours of Monday morning.
Gardaí are following a number of lines of inquiry in relation to the kidnapping.
Inspector Jim Sheridan, one of the first gardaí on the scene said that Mrs Judge did not appear to have been injured.
“She didn't appear to have any physical injuries but she was in a distressed state. She was brought to Louth County Hospital where she is still detained,” he said.
