FF meeting will focus on Nice strategy
The Fianna Fáil parliamentary party meeting in Killarney continues today with the focus on party strategy for the forthcoming Nice Treaty Referendum.
The two-day meeting has focussed on two areas - the public finances and the Nice Treaty.
Today all 116 TDs, Senators and MEPs in attendance will be told what needs to be done to secure a majority “Yes” vote in the Nice Referendum.
A plan will be drawn up to canvas every house in the country to tell people why a “Yes” vote is important for Ireland.
All Fianna Fáil officials will be encouraged to make one major push to ensure the Treaty is ratified.
