Man dies in Wexford power station accident

A man has died in an accident at Great Island power station in Wexford.

The man from Co Antrim was killed when he fell 30ft from a gantry while cleaning tanks at the power facility.

His remains have been removed to Waterford Regional Hospital where a post mortem will take place later.

Officials from the Health and Safety Authority are carrying out an investigation at the scene.
