INO continues industrial action today
The Irish Nurses' Organisation is continuing its industrial action in three mid-western hospitals today.
70 nurses are taking part in the work-to-rule in a dispute with the Mid-western Regional Health Board.
The dispute centres on payments for staff who are ‘on-call’ and for shift premiums. The industrial action is on going in hospitals in Limerick, Nenagh and Ennis hospitals.
Procedures for a number of waiting list patients at Nenagh General hospital have been cancelled as a result of the action.
