Accident closes Kilkenny road

The main Kilkenny to Ballyraggett road has been closed off this afternoon.

The fire service in the area has warned motorists to steer clear as they deal with an overturned truck.

The incident happened this morning and the road has been closed off since then.

The truck overturned on the N77 not far from the Dinan bridge, five miles from Kilkenny city.
