Clancy brother dies in hospital

One of the famous Clancy brothers who has been ill for the past two years passed away in hospital this morning.

Bobby Clancy was a member of one of the best known Irish bands in music history.

He was originally from Carrick-on-Suire in South Tipperary.

Bobby performed regularly in the USA and at home with his brothers Paddy and Tom.

He will be sadly missed by those who knew his music and his culture.
