The British Embassy in Ireland has hit out at Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny after he called on the Government to declare an immediate and unconditional war on the British nuclear industry.

The British Embassy in Ireland has hit out at Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny after he called on the Government to declare an immediate and unconditional war on the British nuclear industry.

Mr Kenny said British Nuclear Fuels, the company which runs Sellafield, cannot be trusted and he criticised the Government for failing to vigorously campaign against the company.
