Abduction attempt reported in Cork

An attempted abduction took place in Cork yesterday evening. Gardai were alerted to the incident following reports that a man in a car approached a group of young girls.

Four young girls reported that a man in a silver saloon tried to get them into his vehicle on Thursday night.

The girls were on route to a friend’s house when the incident occurred. Its been reported that all of the children were aged between seven and ten.
