Ryanair relieved at averting hijacking

Ryanair’s director of flight operations has said he is relieved and delighted that the company’s security officials foiled an alleged attempt to hijack a plane in Stockholm yesterday evening.

A 29-year-old Swedish-Tunisian man has been charged with planning to hijack the Ryanair flight to London after a handgun was found in his luggage.
