Seminary closes as 'spiritual awareness declines'

A seminary which has trained hundreds of priests closed its doors today as student numbers continued to dwindle.

Church leaders lamented a “decline in spiritual awareness” as St Patrick’s college in Co Tipperary announced that no more priests would train at the institution.
