SF 'yet to be accommodated in Dáil'
Sinn Fein, who won an unprecedented five of the 166 Dail seats in the May election, tonight claimed they had still to be given proper accommodation in the Dáil.
Caoimhghin O'Caoláin, leader of the party in the Dail, said that while the Government of Taoiseach Bertie Ahern had appointed a “posse” of advisers, Sinn Fein were still without basic facilities.
He described the position as farcical and unacceptable as the Dail is set to interrupt its long summer recess next week to debate and approve legislation necessary for October’s second referendum on the Nice Treaty for European Union expansion.
