Northern farmers call for 24-hour strike

Farmers in the North have called for a 24-hour food produce strike as part of a protest over low prices and increasing bureaucracy.

The Farmers for Action pressure group is holding a rally at Stormont today as part of a UK-wide campaign to highlight the issue.
