Police investigate Armagh abduction attempt

Police in the North are investigating an apparent abduction attempt in Co Armagh.

At around 7pm yesterday evening a man driving a large green-coloured car tried to entice two young boys to get into his large four-door green car in Armagh City.

The two boys were in the George Street area when he tried to get them into his car, but they ran off into Langs Road.

He followed them and again tried to persuade them to get into the vehicle, without success.

The boys ran away and the man drove off towards Markethill.

The man is described as being in his forties, with short brown hair and glasses. He was dressed in a brown jacket and blue jeans.
