Postal deliveries in rural areas have been delayed for the fourth day in a row today by the pay dispute between postmasters and An Post.

More than 600 members of the Irish Postmasters’ Union again refused to accept early morning deliveries at sub-post offices, or to supervise and assist mail-sorting.
