British man dies after aircraft crash

An elderly British man who was injured in a light aircraft crash in Co Limerick two weeks ago has died in hospital.

An elderly British man who was injured in a light aircraft crash in Co Limerick two weeks ago has died in hospital.

85-year-old Godfrey Bush, from Gloucester, suffered abdominal injuries and fractures to his legs in the crash near Ballingarry.

The 27-year-old pilot and Mr Bush’s wife were also injured in the crash, but were later discharged from hospital.
