The motorcyclist killed in an accident in Co Louth yesterday afternoon has been named as 23-year old John Carroll from Rathbody in Ardee, Co Louth.

The motorcyclist killed in an accident in Co Louth yesterday afternoon has been named as 23-year old John Carroll from Rathbody in Ardee, Co Louth.

He died when the motorbike he was riding collided with a car on the Dublin to Derry Road at Aclint, north of Ardee at about 12.30 on Saturday afternoon.
