Stabbing in Dublin city overnight

Gardai in Dublin are investigating an overnight stabbing in the city.

The incident happened at around 3am today on Harrington Street, just off the South Circular Road.

A man was injured and taken to St James’ hospital. Gardai are not confirming his condition at this stage.

The scene has been preserved and technical experts will examine it for clues later this morning.
