Extensive damage has been caused to a Catholic primary school in Co Antrim following an overnight petrol bomb attack.

Extensive damage has been caused to a Catholic primary school in Co Antrim following an overnight petrol bomb attack.

Up to three people entered the grounds of Lourdes primary school in Whitehead and petrol bombed two mobile classrooms shortly before midnight.

The classrooms and the computers inside were both badly damaged in the attack.

Two fire appliances attended the scene and the blaze was extinguished with help from a local minister.
