Courier shot in attack in Cork

A man is in a serious condition in hospital this morning after being shot in the back of the legs on the outskirts of Cork city.

The victim, a courier, was attacked by two armed and masked men as he drove along the Lee Road near Sunday’s Well shortly after 6am.
