Forensic experts examine suspicious death scene

Forensic experts have been examining the scene of a suspicious death in Co Kildare this morning.

The body of a woman was found on a bed in the mobile home in Allenwood North at around 10pm.

The dead woman, a mother-of-four, is thought to have been in her mid-30s and gardai believe she may have been strangled.

Forensic experts began examining the scene this morning and a post mortem is due to be carried out later today to determine the exact cause of death.

Gardai in Kildare have questioned a man in his 40s in connection with the death.
