Irish adventurer sets out on adventure

Irish adventurer, Caroline Casey announced her latest imaginative venture today in London.

She is to go around the world in 80 ways in a retelling of the Jules Verne novel.

The retake of the Phileas Fogg story will take in 15 countries as Caroline and three other adventurers with disabilities use 80 entirely different ways of transport.

Ms Casey, best known to date for her Indian elephant trek, said: "This will be the Aisling Foundation's second inspiring public journey.

"I love the sense of adventure and the excitement of achieving things you can only dream of."

Ms Casey continues to campaign to make Irish employers aware of what people with a disability can achieve in the workforce.
