Workers Party welcomes cancellation of warship visit

The Workers Party has welcomed the cancellation of plans for two US warships to dock in Cork Harbour later this month.

The US Obregon and the US Martin, which are believed to be en route to the Persian Gulf, were due to dock in Cork on August 19, but the stop was mysteriously cancelled.
