Gardai foil raid in Dublin

Gardai have foiled a raid in Finglas.

The incident occurred this morning at 6.30am.

Three men, believed to be armed, entered a petrol station on the North road in Finglas.

The raiders then fled the scene after gardai were alerted to the robbery.

Gardai recovered a car in a follow up search.

They recovered one firearm and one man was arrested.

He is being held under section 30 of the Offences against The State Act.
