Gardai have recovered a Rubens painting which was stolen from Russborough House in Co Wicklow 16 years ago by notorious criminal Martin Cahill.

Gardai have recovered a Rubens painting which was stolen from Russborough House in Co Wicklow 16 years ago by notorious criminal Martin Cahill.

The painting was among 18 stolen during the 1986 raid and its discovery yesterday leaves just two of the art works unaccounted for.
