Man’s body found in Marlay Park

A man’s body has been found in a drain in Dublin’s Marlay Park.

A passer-by who was walking his dog spotted the remains at around 1.30pm today and gardai believe the body may have been in the drain for up to a week.

The dead man is believed to be in his 20s or 30s. He was fully clothed when found and there were no visible signs of injury.

The scene has been sealed off and the body is at the scene awaiting examination by the State Pathologist.
